Cinzia is a theatre maker, stage director and creative producer working in live performance and site specific theatre.
She founded the multi-award-winning Northumberland-based performing arts company, November Club, where she directed and produced many of the company’s productions, most notably: The Novocastrian Philosophers’ Club and We Got Mittens Too! at the Lit & Phil, Newcastle; Food and Feuds: Two Cooks of Hexham at Blackfriars Cookery School, Queen’s Hall Cafe Hexham and at Hexham Abbey; Beyond the End of the Road, the award winning musical at Hexham Auction Mart and regional tour; Dr Mullins’ Anatomy of the Theatre Royal at the Theatre Royal Newcastle; Traces & Graces for Heritage Open Days at Whalton Manor House Garden; Twelfth Day with the Delavals at Seaton Delaval Hall; Teacups, Zebras and Dancing Kaisers, Operation Pied Piper and many other productions for National Trust’s Wallington. Cinzia left November Club in 2021 to work freelance and establish ClassicsFest, a new Cultural Festival based at the Literary & Philosophical Society of Newcastle upon Tyne in collaboration with Newcastle University’s School of History, Classics and Archaeology.


CLASSICS FEST
15th - 17th May 2025
ClassicsFest is a new cultural festival in North East England, established by Cinzia Hardy at The Literary & Philosophical Society of Newcastle upon Tyne. The festival explores the voices of the ancient Greeks and Romans through the eyes of artists, thinkers and academics of now.
The pilot festival took place in March 2024.
The second edition will take place in May 2025, focussing on Performance and Politics and using the ideas of the Roman orator and lawyer Cicero (106-43 BC) as a springboard for an exciting programme of events.
